Joe shouldn't have spoken to you because TS was the one who secured the credit line. He overstepped his bounds and should have been snapped back so hard his fingers fell off. It's not his contract, not his line to secure, and thus not his information to hand out.
Although it was nice of him to do so, it's just a messy issue if the crap hit the fan.
