zoot19 :) Apologize in advance if you already know this, but as a "Q" stock, the chances are high that current New Century Financial Corp's common shares will be wiped out as it/if it comes out of chapter 11. Certainly would be a day trading & "no hold overnight" stock IMHO.

Portfolio Media, New York (November 30, 2007)--While seeking a month-long extension of its exclusive period to file a plan for reorganization, New Century Financial Corp. said that almost $35 billion in claims have been lodged against it in its Chapter 11 proceedings.
