I think there is more to the story than any of us are aware of. I'm not blinded by riches or anything of the sort. I'm not heavily invested, so I really don't have very much to lose here. Would I like to win? Absolutely.

But when people say that Wilf has turned down wrecks with all but guaranteed millions in treasure on them, that just doesn't add up. Instead, he's just going to sit around and think up lies, never go on recovery missions, buy bad boats and never fix them up, and just let the company fall down around him? Is that what we're really saying here? I'm sorry, but that just doesn't make sense.

I don't care what kind of person you are, whether you're a straight shooter or a crooked business man, that behavior doesn't line up with even basic human nature.

I keep hearing the phrases "half full" and "half empty". The key word there that everyone is overlooking is "half". Is Wilf shady, and does he intentionally lie and mislead shareholders? Perhaps. Is he an honerable man who has had some unfortunate missteps along the way, but still has the best intentions for the company and shareholders in mind? Perhaps. Is he just a bad businessman and decision-maker? Perhaps.

But my question is this: How can anyone know with absolute certainty by only having "half" of the story? And people shouldn't say that the have the whole story, because that is disingenuous, and they don't. Sure, specific events can be cited where things didn't turn out as we were told. But there were some things that did happen as told. And there were other things that kind of happened, the way they were initially presented. Everyone has an agenda, but unless you have ALL of the facts, you're only making "half" of a judgement.
