B: Sun River Energy, Inc. Announces Completion Work to Begin on New Mexico Wells

WHEAT RIDGE, CO, Nov 30, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) --
Sun River Energy, Inc. (OTCBB: SNRV) announces that it has retained
the services of Halliburton to provide perforation, cementing and
logging on the Myers #3 well in Colfax County, New Mexico and
perforation in 15+ coal zones on the Myers #1 and #2 wells on its
lease acreage in the Raton Basin and work has commenced. Sun River
Energy believes that the perforations in the Myers #1 and #2 wells
will provide test results of the Raton formation gas production
noticed during open hole in the drilling stages of these wells. The
company has identified multiple zones in each of the wells with
potential for production based upon existing logs. The intent is to
test production ability and gas quality. If successful, further
stimulation will be planned in those zones. If not successful in
producing, the company will move to test the multiple lower zones in
the Vermingo formation from which several thousand wells produce in
the Raton Basin to the west.
