OT: O.K. the story you are talking about is PFC Jamie Fox out of Pennsylvania, when a Soldier is chaptered out of the Army for whatever reason, a "code" is assigned to their DD 214 (kind of an executive summary of their career) PFC Fox's DD 214 was coded wrong so an automatic letter was generated to tell him to pay his bonus back, his is the only confirmed case of this and the Pentagon apologized for the incident and of course fixed the problem. That code is applied by any old ordinary civilian working in a transition office. Bringing back memories Tncatfish? lol
