You are right GS has great Tech. all in the right field,at the right time.
However I wouldn't come out to strong just yet,with any funding connection between GS and SWVC.I CAN FIND AT THIS TIME NO FACTS supporting such claim.IT is true that T/S ceo of GSGF also same and more with SWVC.
One interesting sentence in GS terms of salary for T/S is based on his ability to raise XXX number of dollars in finances for GSGF.
