Howdy bag8ger...nope still practice account will begin transferring funds next week...IMO the biggest oroblem with FOREX is not that its brutal...but the biggest problem is unwise traders.Just like in equities I see that a gung ho..get rich quick mindset will take you to the cleaners.Also I read a lot of posts in 4X forums and am amazed that these people take positions and hold them beyond a scalp.That IMO is utterly foolish.The longest I have held is a coulple of evenings back I shorted GBP/JPY around 9PM and left to go home...next morning I came in and locked in $1828.73 profit.All of my trades are relatively small..I buy/short 75K units at a time on a technical entry and the instant my P&L hits $100 or more gain I lock it in and dont look back.I was VERY busy today but still got in 2 scalps...one was net $104.40 and the other was $94.30...The second was short of my $100+ goal per trade but it was a short that started to reverse on me on 5 second candles so I closed the position.
