Hey guys/gals , I hope everyone is enduring the MM walk down OK.

I was going to buy some more shares today about 20 min til close and realized that E-trade has put an online restriction on trading,
Does anyone know why they would do this?

I've seen them do it on P/D and on very heavily traded stocks , but not on a solid company with low volume.
Sorry if this has already been discussed , I haven't been keeping up lately
