Demand would push on the ask price. MM's would have to raise the bid. Any MM short would not even sit on the ask (doesn't want to sell) Because of demand they would have to keep pushing up the bid to buy some shares to cover. dog jmho

Hope you can explain. Perhaps I just don't get it.... tia
