Ward is not registered with an NASD firm since June (Empire). He also was fired from 2 firms back (JP Turner, a known churn and burn stock firm) as a condition of settlement for illegal trading activity.

He can still have his Series 7 but as long as he isn't registered with a firm, he can be an IR guy as the license itself cannot limit his employment options. If he were to become registered with another NASD firm and then continue as IR, then that can be illegal.

HOWEVER, if he is still holding himself out there as a Registered Rep, then that is HIGHLY illegal.

Still a scumbag though no matter how you slice it imo.
