Original, that link is not to your poem, but to the homepage of an operation called Poetry.com.

I don't know anything about them except what I see there, and that you are supposed to send them a check for $595.

And I know what I saw when I clicked on some of the links to poems in their books.

I believe that not a single one of the poems I read would have been published anywhere unless the publisher was doing it to make money from the poet.

Be careful, please, Original. If it would make you feel good to see your work in print, so good that it is worth rather a lot of money to bring about that end, pay these people to put it in a book of bad poetry -- and I think you should fully expect to be writing more checks to them, too.

These words appear on the page to which you are taken if you click on "Enter Contest":

All poets who enter this contest will receive correspondence concerning their artistry within seven weeks including a copy of their poem for proofing purposes.

Doesn't that make you supicious?

In my opinion, this is about getting your money, and only about getting your money. I have not read your poem and have no idea which one it is, so please don't take this personally. But you asked for reactions, and I have given mine. I hope it doesn't make you feel bad. I wish you good luck.
