gm! So strange, isnt it? Wealth is increasing on a global basis, yet life is becoming harder for most.
Also strange that with the stronger Euro, oil has become less expensive to import...and yet when I checked on the price of fuel around the world, it was nearly $6 in Denmark and Oslo...so those savings aren't being passed on very much to the ordinary citizen at the pump or to heat their homes...and as you said, salaries have failed to keep up with inflation on necessities
Don't you find it odd that the price of oil is most expensive in the western countries sitting on large reserves like Norway, the UK and Canada? (of course cheap as all else in Venezuela..lol)
In addition, it's odd that when I speak to local farmers here in Nova Scotia, most are being squeezed in prices when they go to sell, whether it's beef cattle, potatoes, apples or milk...and yet the prices for those same items has more than doubled in the supermarkets.
Odd.
