Don't underestimate the power of critical thinking, either. Just because the same story is repeated in the press, it doesn't mean that there isn't another side to it. Chipguy gives an interesting perspective, but the best you can do is criticise him and tell him he doesn't understand the way business works. Where is your advocacy of independent thinking there? Does this only apply when it fits your perspective?
