Imagine the marketing time required to contact all those subsidiaries, travel as required, make susccessful presentations, have the legal-schmeegals on both sides revier all the fine prints, then ink the deals, then have to go schmooze the all of advertisers to cough up "..pre-broadcast.." cash for them to hit a mini-market.
Meanwhile - back at the ranch, our hawaiian-shirted, usually sozzled JabbaptheHut clone is blowing $5000+ on a gay marriage documentary re-run that already has or is beingh done by every Tom, Dick and Mary in the existing media complex. Borrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnngggggg..................!!!!
