steve haag and i spoke also about 2008. they are all very bullish on the future of deep down, and i get the impression whatever growth we saw this year, while impressive on a % basis, will most likely be dwarfed by what's coming next year. it's the power of compounding, and when a company gets big enough, a "double" is certainly much larger in dollar terms. from the sound of things, a double could just be the beginning.
but you get my point: the shares we buy here are as good as gold when you consider what price they'll be trading at several months from now. jmho.
