I will tell you all this, I was in the commercial loan business at one point, and I looked at some deals that were being worked by those associated with BIGN/DVFI. I can tell you this much, there were producing oil wells involved. I never saw anything for the Grimes deal, but I do know that these guys are involved with real business deals.
I think that everyone involved has had the best of intentions. Things just don't turn out as planned sometimes. I know I sound like a broken record, but I still think that these guys can pull these deals together.
I guess it comes down to to a decision left to you (the investor) as an individual. Either get out and stop posting about SEC investigations, or stick it out and wait and see what happens like everyone else.
