Up to a while ago Rydex and Profunds were the only practical way to go "short" the market from inside an IRA. (Main restriction is you can only trade at the end of the day, but it is not as bad as it sounds)

Now you can do it with e-minis. Problem is your last sentence: <g> ("Leverage is huge")

It's a whole different game that I (for one) have to learn all over again...
