amd is down big two days in a row. >2x avg daily volume yesterday and likely a similar ratio today. i'm a little surprised to see such volume on a holiday week.

are the big funds doing a year end house cleaning? i can't see the sizes of the blocks being traded. are they retail or jumbo sized?

it would make sense that some of the big boys would abandon or reduce their positions to polish their portfolios given the pathetic recent "launches" combined with announced and rumored delays of any improvements on the amd products.

amd appears to be headed for single digits.
