I think it's possible that revs may already be coming in. I can't see shipping containers to China without payment. Maybe one sample container, but not multiple containers.

It's been a long time since I worked in transportation but waaay back then the buyer would put the payment into a 3rd party bank which would notify the shipper. The shipper would then ship the product. Once the product was recieved and approved by the buyer, the bank would release the cash to the shippers bank. This is how we worked it with our Japanese customers, we shipped containters of chemical (polyol).

Perhaps a different process is used today.
