One more time,
Since it seems to be lost amid the many posts that are keeping it obstructed from view:
Analystslie has already posted that the payment for royalties occurs in the quarter following the one in which it is received for, which means that the 17K in the 10Q for the third quarter is actually for the brief part of the 2nd quarter where the SmartScan was just starting to roll out, in very small quantity. As we all know, it ramped up in July, which was 3Q, and will reflect in the 4Q numbers.
Further, the 500K + deal from Sharper Image, assuming all other business remained the same (and seeing from BDK's 3Q numbers, Security Hardware, aka SmartSeries products, aka SmartScan, produced over 266 million in revenues, so there is a much larger portion IMO coming from those sales to Sequiam), revenues will at least be double the prior quarter, and hopefully closer to the 1.5 million they did in the 4th quarter last year when they only lost 30K.
Further, the elimination of resellers who don't have the funds to pay their bills (Cyberkey) also betters the company's financial situation and keeps the focus on PAYING CUSTOMERS.
IMO/FWIW
