I think Jerry was a very interesting character, but the current management have a good handle on the strategies that will make AMD succesfull in the future.


I like the fact that even the nobodies in AMD are giving out a message that this is not about beating Intel or gaining market share.

I think they are now focused on obtaining a return from the technolgy. This can be seen with FX53 launch, the flexiable manufacturing which provides differentiated high value products, improved marketing and creation of premium brands, focus on higher value products such as opteron.

I feel very positive about the mangement of this company.
