VIASPACE Modernizes Website to Speed the Update of Customer, Partner and Shareholder Information and News

PASADENA, Calif., Nov. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VIASPACE Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: VSPC), a company commercializing proven technologies from NASA and the US Department of Defense into hardware and software solutions, has recently invested in a major modernization of its website. VIASPACE is executing on both of its major strategies in clean energy and security, by increasing domestic and overseas marketing, expanding its global network of manufacturers and distributors, investigating opportunities for new battery and fuel cell testing products and security and sensor fusion applications, and working on additional new products based on potential customers' inquiries.

Dr. Carl Kukkonen, CEO of VIASPACE and VIASPACE Security, stated, "The rapid expansion of VIASPACE Energy as a business division has accelerated the growth of its fuel cell humidity sensor product line and direct methanol fuel cell cartridge business and allowed it to pursue new opportunities identified within the growing alternative energy market. VIASPACE Security has equally expanded its marketing efforts on a global basis in both inference engine and sensor fusion technology, has now teamed with a major radar/IR hardware platform manufacturer in the perimeter security sector and has been augmented several times in funding on its Advanced Cargo Screening Device contract from L3 Communications."

Dr. Kukkonen continued, "VIASPACE has also recently signed new partnering agreements in Japan and Malaysia, added distributors in Japan, Korea, China, Malaysia, Israel and the Middle East and has licensed new technology from Caltech for both markets. Coupled with new, in-depth reports on the company and positive projections of its value, we felt it necessary to modernize our website to provide a more organized information flow to our many customers, partners and share holders on a more frequent basis. We are rapidly executing on our strategy in both business divisions, and we felt this website modernization would help us keep up with the larger flow of information and news."
