Hello Bibiche. Moses told Pharaoh on behalf of God “Let my people go”. Moses proceeded to show Pharaoh the power of God by working miracles’. Pharaoh then got his Magi to perform the same miracles that Moses had done. Moses told The Pharaoh that if he didn’t let Gods people go then The First Male Born in every household would die. Moses then instructed the Jewish Community to sprinkle their doorways with sheep’s blood so that the Angel of Death would bypass their household.

(It was not just the under 2 years old, it was the first born of every household.)
