Enron conman were big boys who think they are above the law. They got caught when the law just starting to prosecute CEOs who suppossedly signed off their balance sheet and agreed with the figures. Before those days, CEOs can careless on the correct figures as long as they look good.
Nowadays in RA's time he should be more aware that CEOs will be sent to jail for misleading figures.
