We are all posting very noble about what we want left alone... but the truth of the matter is Ihub/advfn will do what is best for their bottom line. Ihub has been very respectful of our wants to date. And I hope not too much in the way of ease of use will be disturbed. Even though I dislike Google methodologies...keeping records and such... I use it because all that comes up is just the name and a field... not a zillion animated and connection paralyzing load times... I have learned first hand about ad revenue packages, transparent web bugs, pop unders and on and on when I was talking with our government web page designers, what is done in the name of page profit... It's not Ihub the client, its these ad companies. They will not stop until every pixel of real estate is abused. If there is a loading slow down... its not their fault, but the site.. THEY DON"T CARE what happens to the client. Does the car dealer care about your savings when he tries to sell you a 7 ton SUV. He's not giving you money for gas, neither is the advertiser giving you extra bandwidth to jam that stupid Quicktime ad down your subscribers throats....
I'm just hoping the Ihub honchos are looking at more than just dollar signs for the newer look and function. I think they are. IMO
