sgolds, as outlined many times before, HP has no reason not to launch Opteron servers immediately. Of course HP waited until after IDF-- to be polite to Intel.

Announce "Nocona" tomorrow??? That would hardly represent a "broadening of customer choice".

When "sources familiar with company plans" talk to reporters on launch eve, it's in the bag.

But for you doubters, we should have the PR at 12:01 am EST, I'm guessing.
