Hi IT Guy. I talked with the sales/mktg rep. today for omniquant. He said that they had done some development work
for spooz in the past but don't currently have a relationship
with them.

He said, that they have released the product to high end users
like institutions and professional traders. It is definitely
not a retail product. He was saying the system costs around
$2,000 per month for the whole package.

He spoke briefly about the features it had, being excel based
and so on. Most of what he was talking about only a professional trader would understand.

I imagine that they could take some spooz business and have
already done so. He didn't say how many customers they had
but his job was to travel around the country and call on
institutions and professional traders. Currently he was in
NYC.

The system sounds very expensive and complex. Perhaps spooz
has targeted a market they don't touch. Don't really know
about all that. With the basic system of spooz costing
$400-600 mo. it sounds like they have niche in the market.
