My $.02 on immediate stock price:

I think we have entered a bear market. The last three months have been characterized by the market ignoring good news, trashing of non-quality stocks( divergence between the leaders and followers), and excessive volatility. All these have been indicators of the end of a bull and the begining of a bear market. The bad macroeconomic news is continuing.I see further sell offs in the days ahead.

However Intel has done well, and much better than the rest of the market, since the market jitters began four months ago. I see significant earning growth during the next two years. But the PE ratio will slide along with the rest of the market, and we may have seen the peak for the year. I was expecting a $30 price in January, but now I think that will be delayed to the April May time frame.

Personally I unloaded a small amount of Intel today. I have reduced my Intel holdings by 7% during the last 7 months. My investment advisors wanted me to lighten my holdings by 25%, but that will have to wait.I see greater risk in diversifying, and I would rather be in Intel and than the general market.
