Nolan has been developing this concept since the Chuck E' Cheese days. CEC worked but it was not the social environment Nolan was envisioning. Talk to him and he'll tell you uWink has been his dream for many, many years. It's also the culmination of many of Nolan's ventures coming together.

Entering the market is also not as easy as you make it sound. Copying hardware might be easy, but recreating the uWink experience will take a long, long time.
