NYC, My first experience with Danners...

Desperately needing new boots I decided to go for the best. The problem was, it was the day before a 6 mile hike into the Mt. Jefferson Wilderness. 6 miles and every stinkin' step is uphill! Add to that an 80 pound pack and I was expecting the worst. (I loaded up on the mole-skin).

A pleasant surprise is an understatement. Not only did I not get a single blister (first time), but my feet stayed dry and comfortable ... right out of the box!

NYC, I know how hard it is to lose those well worn boots, but if you're in the market, at least go try on a pair of Danners. Take the socks you'll be hunting/hiking in along and get a nice snug fit. Slop causes blisters.
