Doesn't look real good for the near future. GM posts a loss of 39 billion, every company that writes mortgages are in freefall mode. You got inflation spiking up and a Fed that couldn't lower rates fast enough. Bernanke waited to long to react as usual for the fed. They should have started months before they did.
