VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--Diamonds North Resources Ltd.
(DDN-TSX Venture) announces diamond results from the Sculptor,
Pegasus and Orion kimberlites which are centrally located along
the 20 kilometre Galaxy Structure on the Blue Ice property,
Victoria Island. These results are from the 2003 Blue Ice
exploration program which was jointly funded by Diamonds North
and Teck Cominco Limited.

From the Sculptor kimberlite, 724 diamonds were recovered from a
514.15 kilogram composite sample collected from three separate
trenches over a 330 metre strike length. The high diamond counts
recovered from this sample are associated with an anomalously
high proportion of large stones. A total of 191 diamonds (26%)
classify as macrodiamonds (at least one dimension greater than
0.5mm) and 48 of these stones measure more than 1.0mm in at least
one dimension. Five of the recovered stones measure greater than
2mm in at least one dimension.

From the Pegasus kimberlite, 30 diamonds were recovered from a
220.8 kilogram composite sample obtained from two trenches
located 150 metres apart. Five of the diamonds (17%) classify as
macrodiamonds and 3 of these measure greater than 1.0mm in at
least one dimension.

From the Orion kimberlite, 5 diamonds were recovered from a 16.42
kilogram composite sample collected from two trenches spaced 86
metres apart. One of the 5 diamonds is classified as a
macrodiamond.

Full square mesh sieve diamond results for the three kimberlite
bodies are presented in Table 3 below. Sculptor in particular,
demonstrates a very encouraging diamond size distribution with 25
stones occurring on or above the +0.85mm screen. Two of the
largest Sculptor diamonds remain on the +1.70 mm screen. The
Pegasus sample yielded a relatively small population of diamonds,
however, one of the stones is large, remaining on the +1.18mm
screen.

The 2003 diamond results for Sculptor demonstrate the presence of
larger stones and a favorable diamond size distribution with
increasing sample size. This result exceeds the 2002 diamond
count for Sculptor which returned 254 diamonds from a 208.58
kilogram sample.

The colour and clarity of the diamonds recovered from the 2003
Sculptor and Pegasus samples are summarized in Table 4 below. The
diamond population from Sculptor is dominated by white
transparent stones. Of the six pink diamonds recovered in 2003,
four are classified as macrodiamonds. The presence of pink
diamonds in Sculptor is consistent with the 2002 diamond results
where 2 pink stones (one of which qualified as a macrodiamond)
were reported. Also notable, the Pegasus diamond population is
dominated by white transparent stones with no translucent or
opaque stones reported.

The central Galaxy Structure consists of the Sculptor, Pegasus
and Orion kimberlites, which are a series of en echelon dykes
represented by linear magnetic anomalies (A map of the Galaxy
Structure is available on the Company's website;
http://www.diamondsnorthresources.com/s/Diamond_GeologicalInfo.asp
). These magnetic signatures range in width from 25-75 metres and
up to 2.0 kilometres in strike length. The discovery of Orion in
2003 was the result of geological prospecting. Orion is exposed
on surface as a zone of discontinuous frost heaved hypabyssal
kimberlite boulders over a strike length of 100 metres and a
width of up to 1 metre. Hand trenching at Pegasus failed to reach
bedrock; however, sample material was collected from subcrop and
frost heaved boulders. Two of three trenches excavated at
Sculptor successfully exposed in-situ kimberlite revealing true
widths of 1.2 to 1.5 metres.

In addition to trenching, the Sculptor and Pegasus bodies were
drill tested in 2003 to obtain geometrical data of the bodies at
depth. Drill holes BI-03-18 and BI-03-19 were drilled from the
same location at -50 degrees and -70 degrees inclinations to test
the Sculptor kimberlite at depth. The drill holes intersected 0.7
metres and 2.06 metres of kimberlite respectively from the
sub-vertical body. The core and trench samples are both described
as medium grained olivine macrocrystic hypabyssal kimberlite.
Drill hole BI-03-20 (-60 degrees) tested the Pegasus kimberlite
and intersected 2.3 metres of very altered, coarse grained,
olivine macrocrystic hypabyssal kimberlite below one of the
Pegasus surface trenches.

Kimberlite samples were collected and logged under the
supervision of qualified geoscientists. Samples were securely
sealed in solid containers and shipped by air to SGS Lakefield in
Ontario. SGS Lakefield's standard caustic fusion diamond recovery
method was utilized for all samples. SGS Lakefield is accredited
by the Standards Council of Canada to the ISO 17025 standard for
specific registered tests.
