Because so much detail is posted on the design of this product already, I bet SS has most of the patents (or pending) for it.

As to replicating it... Probably not too hard. Hopefully MRVLs lawyers can stay on top of this.

Below is a link to SS's patents. There are a bunch of one's related to power, voltage, and currents. I suspect these comprise this design. Also, you can check out where he/MRVL is going in the product world.

Damn... Check out the patent he has on GPS tracking for traffic! I've had this idea for a while, but have been unable to architect/engineer the solution for the real world.
