The reply sounded to me as follows: The company is for sale provided the buyer is willing to pay a high premium over the current price. At the moment there is no such buyer. For less i am not willing to sell. My price will be met in due time. I am patient and have faith in the company and its appreciation.
This is my interpretation of what was actually said.
I wonder myself what would be considered a 'fair' price, but of course have no answer.
