Tumor injections would need the same PI's as everything else, simply because you would need to know how the drug behaves, how often you have do do how much, how long it lasts, where it goes, what it does, and whether there are new toxicity issues before you go any further.

Otherwise, you risk another "Ready-Fire-Aim" exercise in the PII's. Considering that the Panzem capsules/NCD episode may ultimately prove to be the reason PZ isn't already a billion dollar drug like Revlimid by now, I think we want them to get things right before they spend a lot of money for human trials.

A partner for injections isn't a dumb idea, but I would speculate that the need for that depends on the serum concentrations they're currently getting and how close the company really is to significant good news from the current trials.
