Whenever I do a news search using the term bagasse, I always see discussed the potential of it being converted into ethanol. This has me worried. However, being penny investors, we know there is always someone out there looking to scam soemone, get a government grant, etc. from something that sounds like a good idea but is really a bunk science.

Another thing I see a lot (which has me excited) is potential investment into ethanol projects in Africa. And it's possible they'll want to burn the bagasse for carbon credits regardless of technological advancements. I hope Cal and Brian are aware of the African projects under consideration. If they read this board, well, here are a couple links which mention creating electricy with bagasse at ethanol plants in the works, in Africa.

India is another place where ethanol production from sugar cane is big, as is bagasse burning. These could be some very lucrative markets for the KDS technology. I would be very happy (and impressed) to see some joint ventures announced for these regions.

I'm looking forward to hearing about the Brazil deal being finalized and, hopefully, multiple sales occurring there soon after.
