I work in Chicago. I write software for the trading industry. I'm not jumping to conclusions.

It's not about whether I want to use other tools to trade, it's about whether anyone in the world would pay for SpoozToolz when there are so many other similar products.

I'm merely making the point that there's more well-established competition than people on this board seem to realize.

Paul stated in an email to someone on this boards that he could sell tons of subscriptions by himself, since this thing sells itself. If it really sold itself, they would have released it. You don't sit on your hands when you've got a finished product. You get it released, get a few users to shake out some of the common issues with taking on subscriptions, then you start a blitz campaign to bring in more customers. Bottom line, you start generating revenue.

Instead of being a software company, they pursued a path of being a trading company. This didn't pan out for legal/compliance reasons, so they start the process of creating 141. The concept of being a trading firm fits better with Paul's experience as a trader. It seems to be forgotten that Spooz is supposed to be a software company. In case you don't understand this, it means they try to sell software to generate revenue. Outside of the pending 141 deal, have you seen any software revenue? This is no longer an issue of being patient. When January and February 2008 comes and goes, we will see what new delays come about.
