rf4hd - I wouldn't worry about a couple of weeks delay. A lot of deals between business get to a point where it looks like a straight shot, only to find a single detail that still needed resolution. A detail needs to be reworded, or a bit more research in a file needs to be carried out, or ....; then the results need to be communicated, then discussed to resolution. Then the agreements need to be revised, perhaps even a signature cycle reinitiated. A week or two or three can accumulate pretty fast.

I think the PR had nothing to do with the deal per se, but with all the ruckus that was building among the threaded shareholders because the commitment date came without the real McCoy being quite in shape to release.

Sure, I maybe sound a tad optimistic, but what I suggest may be happening is consistent with the way these things go, and it is as credible a guess as that of any of the chronic naysayers. So, I'm sticking with my story.

Having said that, It's puzzling to me why CVIA would volunteer any date, or even any ballpark timing, (1) given the abuse heaped on them when they miss a date, and (2) their history of not being all that good on date prediction (at least to the thread folks!). It would seem to me that either the "abuse" or the lessons learned about their expertise in predicting dates would cause them to hold off on such commitments until all the contingencies are out of the way.

My guess is that Keith is a passionate guy (DUH!) and still gets excited when things are about to break, and just can't resist telegraphing in some way that something good is headed our way. Yeh, that's it! I'll stick with that too!!

Regards - and anxious to see what transpires this next week!! JimA
