There's not a "cooling off" period.

It is simply a matter of reducing the agreement to writing and "dotting the "I"s and crossing the "T"s. This is what attorneys are made for and they can be surprisingly "diligent". Which translates to "slow".

P2k could very well be correct and it could happen today. Once the agreement is signed and filed, it is essentially done. Almost an act of god to stop it then. Not necessary for the judge to issue a final order unless somebody wants to see that order to complete an outside transaction (acacia?)
