I didn't notice any interstate highways between the two points in the DD Faz did. 280 miles of twisty highways plus the fact that they have to drive several miles off road to get to the pile. I think you are looking at an all day job for one load. Based on what Righty posted on .20 ore thats 80k. 560 ton/ 30 ton per load = 18 loads. So we are looking at 5k-10k transportation costs. To have a large front end loader delivered to a remote site for 1-2 weeks what 2-4 k? Plus an operator for said time..Then the interesting part.

"The Company will then be responsible for reclaiming the approximately one acre site as required by the Utah Mined Land Reclamation Act, Sections 40-8-1 et seq"

What is involved in reclaiming the site? Planting trees? Hauling in fresh dirt? Obviously more costs.

If we are lucky we end up with 50-60k. Enough to pay Rick for another two months.

Not bad for a pile laying on the ground. Will we see any of it. Time will tell. Maybe he has found his niche market. There may be many more piles like this laying around.

This could be a money making market reclaiming old sites, but he would need to increase this by ten fold to cover his salary and return shareholder value.
