starts off:
..."This rant is about virtual software and hardware, but there's nothing virtual about the big profits we've already made in this space! And those very real profits are nothing compared to the ones we're going to make.
We just received the results of our latest ChangeWave Alliance survey on the virtualization phenomenon. While I won't bore you with the technical details, I can tell you that what we're seeing is very similar to Apple's (AAPL) breakout thanks to the iPod and its move to Intel (INTC) processors.

includes:
....And the Winner Is …

Storage software. With all of the virtual servers running at the same time, you'll need real-time storage.

In this space, we've added a new stock to our ChangeWave Investing Buy List that you definitely want to own. It's a company with around an 18 P/E, and its new product deals purely with the virtual world. It's just getting started, and hasn't hit its earnings flow at all, but it will be in a big way in '08 and '09.

We're buying this stock under $24, and we think it's worth $40 to $44.

There are very real profits to be made in the Virtualization Wave.

This is one of those S-curve-type changes, which you don't see very often. The last big one we had was the Apple Wave. And this wave is going to be even bigger because it's a much broader market.

Bottom Line: It may be virtual, but the profits are very, very real....
