If the market makers FAIL to cover.... they have two options..... a large fine, or stop trading...... for if they fail to pay a fine, their privlages to trade could be and will be taken away....... but all this need to be enforced by the S.E.C.

they will not risk this and they will cover.... (imo) all positions have been covered for the most part..... people need to stop thinking that the short position is going to save all there loser tickers from certain death..... when I asked the SHO dept at the S.E.C. about this was told that it might effect a few, but it more for future trading purposes..... hope this helps, GL!
