If you want a great read, buy Ray Kroch's autobiography, which was published in the 70's. Still copies available on E-bay. Ray Kroch failed at 5 different businesses before he stumbled on the Mac bros in his middle years.

Today the corporation identifies new Mac locations by surveys and all kinds of expensive market analysis tools and proceedures. Mr. Kroch had a pair of binoculars and maps with him as flew around the country on business. He would look for church steeples that rose above the tree line. He reasoned that if a community could support a church with a high steeple, then it could support a business selling 10 cent burgers and fries. Pretty good reasoning.

My point is, in HMGP company we have a CEO who has reasoned that the best way to find and produce oil is to find old abandoned oil and undeveloped sites by checking old maps and records, and then renovate and/or dig new wells. Sounds a lot like Mr. Kroch and his map and field glasses, but on a smaller scale.
