New refineries are now open. Refineries in the Gulf have reopened.
The price of oil might be up but refinery competition is keeping the "little guys" gas prices down.

"When nobody could afford it" is alarmist. They want to get as much as they can, not stop people from buying it.

Drive us out of oil and into other forms of energy is all it will do. Your "Greater Depression from oil" will be a boom to America with non oil, in house replacement solutions.

What will all that $$$$ for oil do if kept in America?
