OT: Cat thanks for bringing Gary's attention over here a little too. I'm a lurker on SI and really greatful for all the great info. he puts out. I ran into him on RB at the BSDM board about 2-years ago and he gave me a link to the Microcap Kitchen. That was the most valuable message I ever got off a message board!!
I'd like to thank Gary for sharing his research with the public, it's better than a lot of pay-for-service newsletters and websites I've seen. I'm such a big fan of his.....my wife, my family, and my friends know his name....and know what respect I have for him! Not only am I impressed with the great information he provides; but I also admire his virtues, humbleness, and generosity.
I got layed-off last October...and really didn't want to go back to another environmental consulting job in Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste work...even though I was quite successful in winning stock options from my company, performance awards from clients, and great honors like being shipped to the Nevada Test Site to research the Department of Energy's Nuclear Proving Ground lol...what an honor!
Anyway, having found the Microcap Kitchen earlier last year, I figured I'd try to do this full-time....but I started with only 3k, borrowed 4k as a cash advance from a credit card (crazy!)...and now it's grown into 19K total with Gary's picks as the foundation of my portfolio (particularly BIPH)! Gary's picks have been the foundation of my success! I also play some NASDAQ options and some of Bobwins and hwebs value plays....but Gary's led me to my biggest winners...MED...INB...GORX...and now BIPH!
While I'm still only chewing away at prior losses from my own misguided investment descissions early on....I have much more hope for a better tommorrow now! ...and yes...when I get in a comfortable place with my losses burried under a pile gains, I will contribute generously both my money and time to the cause of helping the less fortunate...that's what I originally intended to do as an Environmental Scientist...but the Peace Corps wouldn't take me?

P.S.: Charles Skeele of CRKT returned my call last week....but I didn't have my questions ready, so I didn't get much good info.. Gilead also spoke with him and got some better answers. I told him Gary was where I learned about his company...and I wouldn't be surprised if Gary had also called him. Charles said he did have messages from Gary; but he said he lost Gary's contact info. and asked me if I had it....ofcourse I don't....but I told him Gary could do more for him than his PR company if there truly is promise in their set-top box projections and nanotechnology...so he should find a way to get in-touch with Gary.
The thing I did ask was if they own the patents to those elasotmere cooloing devices and he said they do. He said they're working with a large Tiawanese research institution....this releived some worries of mine about the ownership of that IP....but there's still a few question marks out there with regard to their set-top box business?
