As I said in the post they get paid for visitors to the banner site. But VERY important!!! They can not get the banner if they don't have the traffic and they must prove it any one can put up a web site but you must pay for exposure. “GOOGLE” “EXCITE” “LYCOS” “YAHOO charge to be in there search engines sometimes hundreds of thousands, even millions each year to one company. This is how you can see if a company or there web site is making money. The more they show up for a period of time consistently the more you can count on them paying big bucks for advertising which is offset by BANNERS AS AFFILIATES. But even more important it is a good indicator that they are making money to invest in that type of advertising. If you listen to the CEO of COM Media you will have picked up that he is relying heavily on technical media being a strong advantage to the success of the company and has reiterated that since he took over. Granted it is a bold move for a company with a poor past record but I don’t think they would have survived this long if a bold move was not taken. They may still not make it but if his past performance is any indication of the future of CMTN then guess what? The gamble paid off in a big way! If it don’t we all move on, I have P*^&ed away 20K on bad vacations with no hope of a penny back at least I may get something out of this even if its an offset to what I have to pay in taxes LOL
