Last evening I watched on the tele a very informative CNN sponsored show about the greenhouse effect, the loss of animal species like tigers, pollution, etc.

The most interesting part to me was the focus and "already guilty" look at China as by far and away the main culprit for all of the above. I was staggered when I heard that China's existing population (around four billion I think) will atleast double by the year 2020. Both China and India were painted as "runaway" nations re population increases with neither the least bit interested in alternative energy sources or pollution controls.

Without sounding politically inncorrect...we're in the money chaps and ladies and happily partnered with China - a country that cannot be bullied or swayed by any other nation or nations in the world.

Anyone care to guess what the cost of a barrel of crude will be in 2020? Pinning the tail on the donkey I would conservatively throw out approx $300.00 U.S. And if the dollar continues its slide, who can say? I think the decimal figure on our PPS will have moved some four digits to the right by then. Of course I also project that I'll be "pushing up daisies" by then but will have provided a comfortable lifestyle for my niece and nephew.
