After having a number of beers and playing softball for the first time in ten years(i'm 52, still young but out of frickin shape), and that the weekend is here, I realize there's not many day-trader's posts to read. So I'm going to bore you with a deep opinion.
First of all, I post on this board because this one has the most non-nonsense posters. We get a few novices to GTEC, which is great, but no one here is pumping other stocks, and being downright idiots.
Well, here's my deep thought(if you don't care, then move on to door number 3).
In the SEC filing, we are not promised anything as far as a dividend goes, but I have guessed 3-5 cents in previous post.
However, my opinion of the previous managers of GTEC is that they are(were) excellent, and I feel that they personally would like to leave an excellent legacy behind them.
Gary Wolfson, GTEC's previous CEO, has worked in China, commuting from South Florida for 15 years +,(hard work). He and the rest of the team(etal) with President Kenneth Clinton and the renowned Dr. Tan from GEP, have already done an outstanding job for us shareholders with this merger, and after that hard work, its only human nature that they would like to be remembered for their years of toil.
While they have done well for us and themselves , I would think they would want to go out with a bang, and give the US shareholders something to remember for times to come.
! If US shareholders are rewarded with a much better than expected dividend, and the new GTEC performs as we all feel it will, this deal will be talked about for a long time, and other good mergers will be compared to this one. !
That would be a hell of a good legacy !!!
Sorry for rambling on a Friday night. I've been a shareholder of this stock for more years than any of you, so I have the right to ramble.
