valorie,...where do you get that "they developed the patent"?

this extracting water from air technology has been patented for a while by WorldWide Water, Inc. and has been licensed to many companys that are making similar machines.

here is an extract from one such company,...

Air2Water products are best described as atmospheric water generators. Air2Water water generating machines use technology (developed and patented by Worldwide Water, Inc.) that extracts pure drinking water from the air.

i find it interesting that WTAR is using the exact same description as Air2Water is using for their products,...that being Atmospheric Water Generators (AWG)

so WTAR is at best either licensing this technology or infringing on the patent. unless they have done an improvement on the technology then they are most likely infringing.

it is now more understandable why WTAR has stated they have a "patent pending",...most likely once the patent examiner has researched their patent application it will be denied because there is already a patent covering this exact technology the are claiming to have.
