I agree 100%. Sara is a valued "assistant manager" on the Intel board and would be sorely missed, should she withdraw.

I have personally refrained from getting in the middle of any of the long standing personality clashes between folks here at iHub, and have no intention of doing so now. My comments do not apply to any clashes, pro or con. I only post this from my own selfish perspective. If Sara were to leave, it would be to the detriment of the Intel board.

A way of life at Intel, from which I retired, is the tenant of constructive confrontation. The rules are simple. You can attack any premise or position, but you can never attack the person themselves. A key part of constructive confrontation is the option to "agree to disagree" when a stalemate is reached. This allows both individuals to save face but, more importantly, move on to more productive pursuits. It works like a charm! I wish more folks could give it a try.
